THE OCEAN NEEDS ACTION
Too often the global ocean is overlooked when it comes to discussions surrounding climate and biodiversity crises, despite being the largest habitat on earth and the origin of life itself.
When politicians talk recovery, they talk planting trees. Rewilding of the land. Which is great still, but what about the marine ecosystems capable of storing more carbon than continental forests still being destroyed, just off our coastlines?
This is a call to action, inviting anyone and everyone to come along to find out more about issues impacting our oceans and what we can do to help save them. There will also be interactive activities during the event and opportunity for attendees to engage in discussion surrounding marine conservation topics.
It will be in Cottrell room LTW1 and also live streamed on MS Teams
Please take a lateral flow before attending this in-person event. You can order test kits here
