Plant a Tree at Borrowmeadow

October 17 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Come and join TreeLink Stirling and Stirling Council to plant 700 native trees at Borrowmeadow (behind the Stirling Sports Village). We’ll meet at the main entrance to The Peak (leisure centre), Forthside Way, Stirling, FK8 1QZ.

The event is not ticketed but please email treelinkstirling@outlook.com if you are planning to come so that we know who to expect on the day.

Requirements for attendees such as Covid rules and items to bring:

Please bring your own gloves and refreshments and come dressed for the weather. The planting site contains long vegetation and so waterproof footwear is recommended. Some tools will be available but please bring a spade if you have one. Please note that there are no toilet facilities and no refreshments available at the planting site.

This activity is family friendly and children are welcome as long as they are supervised by parents/carers.

Please don’t bring dogs along to the event.

What’s happening at the event:

We will be planting 700 native trees to replenish a small woodland area that was planted 10 years ago. The trees will increase the biodiversity of the site and absorb carbon from our atmosphere, helping us to combat the climate and nature emergencies.
